a few weeks ago I heard a commerical for Nashville Star television series on USA Network.. this got in my mind and I just had to jot it down.. there have been several incarnations of it so far, and I am sure this won't be the last.. I emailed it earlier to Randy Owen of the Alabama band since I had met him twice over the years, then I left it in usa today's mail box.. again tell me what you think of this little toe tapper...

here is one of the newest ones I've written...  recently recorded on the new alesis adat hd24 24 track hard disk recorder and the rest of what mekes up our newely equipped 24 track recording studio...   I am going to start all over and re-record everything  now...  put together a couple of e-cd's for independent release and all.. 
 Anyway, this is just one of the ten or twelve new songs I've completed and working towards getting them recorded and all..

ok here is my first song in a while.. I was bottle feeding the kitten when I just wrote this in a minute or so.. can't you tell??
this is a direct plagerism... It might help to know why... as the song says, my son latched on to a kitten from a litter of a neighborhood malnurished stray that the animal control shelter picked up the rest of including the mother cat..  the kitten wasn't weined yet, so the family is having to bottle feed it and care of it..  when ever we give her a bottle, her little ears flap a hundred miles a minute like Yoda's in starwars.. and since the kitten is a female, we call her "Yodi" the fem version of Yoda... there ya have it...   here's the lyrics for you...

writen and planned out in about five minutes..
but after another long frustrating, pain staking
hassle with tryin to get the computer straightened
out, I did this..  by the time I got to the keyboard
and vocal tracks I was fed up..  so here it is!!
